The Process
In a world of rapid change, Iris wanted to ensure that Air New Zealand was set up to be able to thrive in this new environment. Wanting to avoid investing blindly, she engaged with us at dentsu to build a transformational roadmap for their business.
Before designing a roadmap, it was essential to have an understanding on their current state as a business. To achieve this we used our diagnostic framework, which was based on a high level one made by BCG and Google. It assessed the business across 6 capabilities; Analytics, Access, Customer, Automation, Ads & Assets, and Organisation. After conducting several workshops across the business we used this framework to map out the current state of the business, and areas of focus.
We then detailed a roadmap outlining exactly what they need to do across these areas of focus, the interdependencies, as well as required resource and commercial impact.
This roadmap is now being incorporated into the businesses wider thinking and investment strategy.
